My Story

My entire life has been built around coaching and training others through big changes and new skills.

But nothing prepared me for motherhood.

When my son Parker was born, I was completely devoted to him. I co-slept, I nursed on demand, I held him through every nap. I believed that was what attachment looked like. What I didn't realize was that I was running on empty. Parker was waking every one to two hours through the night, and my husband and I were drowning. We entered the darkest season of our lives — struggling in ways neither of us expected, questioning everything, wondering how we would survive.

I had always believed sleep training was cruel. I was convinced that any amount of protest from my baby meant I was damaging that precious connection I had worked so hard to protect. But I was desperate. So when Parker was six months old, out of sheer desperation, I decided to give sleep training a chance — skeptically, reluctantly, and honestly not believing it would work.

Within seven days, Parker was sleeping through the night.

I felt like myself again. I was a better mother, a better partner, a better human. I finally understood something I wish someone had told me sooner — protest is how babies communicate when they're learning a new skill. They're telling you they're not happy about it. But they're safe, they're loved, and you're right there with them.

That experience ignited something in me. I earned my certification through the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting as a certified pediatric sleep and potty coaching specialist, and founded Sleepy Little Spruce — because I know firsthand what it feels like to be that desperate, that exhausted, and that skeptical. I also know what it feels like when everything finally changes, and I can't wait for you to experience it too.

My approach is gentle, attachment-based, and judgment-free — because I was the mom who thought sleep training was cruel, and I needed someone to meet me exactly where I was. When the time comes for the next big milestone — potty training — I'll be right there too, with the same gentleness and patience your family deserves.

My goal is simple — I want you to get the sleep you need and deserve. I want you to wake up feeling like yourself again, to show up for your kids as the parent you know you can be, and to move through your days with less frustration and more presence. I want you out of the dark place and into the light. I also want you to realize that gentle sleep training isn't something to be feared — it's one of the greatest gifts you can give your family.

I'm so glad you're here. You don't have to do this alone.
